Wright's plagiarism policy

Students in my courses should know that I take plagiarism extremely seriously.  I will prosecute students to the full extent of the Trent plagiarism policy in unambiguous cases of offence.  Any work or any portion of a work submitted to me which has not been written for my course alone will be regarded as suspect.  This includes work poached from published sources, unpublished sources, other students, the Internet, and/ or work submitted by a student in more than one course.

I reserve the right to ask students at any point in the preparation of course work for research notes, rough work and early drafts.  You should, therefore, keep all such materials on file until the release of your final grade at the end of a course.  If you compose your written assignments on a computer, save early drafts of your work as separate files.

Failure to produce rough work on demand will be regarded as evidence of plagiarism.
