Watching the liberal press go apoplectic over Donald Trump has evolved into a national pastime—like watching a bench-clearing brawl or a pile-up during an F1 race. Trump goads his enemies in the media, and they react with precisely the kind of insanity he thrives on. This week New York Times op-ed writer Charles M. Blow fumed that Trump is "an abomination, and a cancer on the country"—strong words coming from someone who wants to restore "propriety" to U.S. politics. Most liberal pundits seem to agree that Trump's "antics" add up to "nothing," just as Blow says. Yet they type away in their thatched huts, knowing that Trump's phone is a lighter.
