Albertans Flummoxed by Record-breaking Snowfall

According to Environment Canada, two weather records were broken in Calgary yesterday:

The 32.8 centimetres of snow that fell on Tuesday shattered the Oct. 2 snowfall record of 4.6 centimetres set in 1954. And the snow also broke the record for one day in October, which was 30 centimetres set in 1914.

This can’t be global warming, so it must be climate change. No, wait. Maybe it’s not climate at all, but merely garden-variety weather. It’s all so very deeply perplexing and alarming. And where in the world is the prophet Al Gore, come to think of it, when the faith of the simple folk of Canada is again being so sorely tested?
